Hi, I’m Ellen Monsees.

My mission is to take people on a journey to joy. For some, that means stepping out of grief before we step into joy.

I’m a Certified Advanced Grief Recovery Method Specialist®, an author, and artist—and your guide and companion as you illuminate this path you’re on.

I was devastated when my husband died suddenly at the age of 46. My identity shaken, it was impossible to return to my life as it used to be and I feared nothing would ever feel “normal” again.

It took courage to imagine and take steps toward a new, fulfilled life without my husband… and I have 100% confidence you’ll come out the joyful end of your grief, too.
